NEW YORK (WCBS 880) —  Uncle Paul’s Pizza near Grand Central has seen an 85 percent decline in traffic due to the coronavirus pandemic, causing owner Dino Redzik to close down four other locations and furlough nearly 100 employees.

In the meantime, Redzik wants to help out some of the medical employees that have been working during this time. “We would like to just do our part,” Rezik told WCBS 880.

Redzik lived throught the Bosninan War and knows what it’s like to gor through tough times and wants to give back.

“My biggest thing is we can make food and bring it to an emergency room,” Redik said.” “Fresh food can make the difference.”

Starting Friday, for the next two weeks, doctors, nurses and first responders can stop by Uncle Paul’s Pizza for free meals.
